Every time doctor puts me on prednisone I gain at least 10 lbs ,but he said he would rather see me gain the weight than have other problems ... I am not sure how I feel about this .....

I have always been a skinny guy, but steroids caused me to gain nearly 200lbs. Personally I had to actively look for alternatives to the steroid treatments with my doctor, and start there. By the way it is not safe to get off the steroids with out being weened off by your doctor. In addition to the steroids, I had to change everything to do with the way I eat, (portion size, content, etc...). Also, sugar had to be nearly completely cut from my diet.

I also have the weight gain UGH over 200 but I think I have found an answer . I bought a Nutri-bullet and I am making different smoothies they have one for dieting. It is not bad tasting but it is not cheap but you can make 3 or 4 smoothies out of one shopping trip (cost me about 20$) I also bought some cups from Walmart they were 5 for $4 I make the smoothies at one time and fill the cups (they come with caps) and freeze them until I need them. Hope this helps Walmart has one for $35 got my daughter one also
