Medicare guidelines are 88 at rest or with exertion. The rest of the insurance world generally follows those guidelines and uses the same protocols as Medicare to determine whether you qualify.

When I was being released from hospital I was told a reading of 88 required you to have oxygen sent to your home for use

I got it at the level of 87. Medicate would not cover me till then. I was hospitalize 11days then they covered it
