@A MyCOPDTeam Member no thanks needed we all are in this together allot of use have no one that really understands what our life is like. as hard as we try not to let it it still gets depressing at times. i just fixed a shelf in the pantry i but in eight screws with a drill with a screw drive tip in it. sip sip they were in and i was winded. for a guy that used to be the first one a friend would come to when they needed some thing built like a shed that i would have up in a day that's depressing. but i caught my breath and stepped back and said to my self there its done.

My housework just sits there and tells me it needs to be done. I ignore it. Before I got bad I cleaned my whole house at least once a week. The farther this disease progresses the less I do. I have been talking to my daughter about getting someone to come in once or twice a month to do the floors, bathrooms and change the bed linens. I find the very hardest thing to do, besides changing the linens, is vacuuming. I have a really small house and when I try to vacuum it takes me maybe 5 trys. That is how often I have to sit down and get my air back. It is a real pain. I have learned to live with the dust. If somebody comes to visit I have even stopped apologizing for the way my house looks. The way I look at it, the dust will still be here when I am gone. Take care and remember to breath deeply.

thats a good question not as clean as i used to keep it hell no. with me its a mindfulness thing i don't wash any more dishes at a time than i can put away after there dry with out getting winded. with the laundry one load a day means only folding one load a day. no wasted trips if you have to go to the bathroom take those wash cloths you folded in to put away then. smaller trash cans mean smaller bags of trash that are lighter. any thing that you find hard to do try to come up with a solution to make it easier. if you didn't get to wipe the stove down right away don't work hard on scrubbing it lay a wet dish cloth on the hardened stuff it will loosen it in a little while. we have to learn to work smart not hard. i am looking forward to see other people answer this question as well so that i can learn what they have come up with to help me. but most of all i think clean as you go is best don't let it get to far ahead of you so it becomes a big chore. i also get a lot of the little things done by offering the grand kids a dollar to pick up the stuff the littler ones left laying around lol
