I use NAC along with azithromycin on M, W, and F and I've been "cough free" for over 15 months. I definitely am a NAC believer! Still have SOB, but at least I can eat, sleep, socialize a little and attend church without "coughing my head off"!

My dr. Ordered the NAC too. Took it for about two weeks, and stopped, I don't remember why though. Maybe I will start taking them again. Have you taken them yet? The info that I read made them sound like a miracle drug. I take so many meds, I have to have it checked out for interactions. Pain in the neck. Good luck with it, I hope it helps. The new Spiriva looks interesting. Have to ask pulmonologist about it for my use. Hugs

I was just changed to this medicine. Havent worked out yet and that will be the true test....
