There are subtle differences, and which one is best is the one that works best for you. What works for someone else may not work for you at all. If you don't like the one prescribed for you, ask for another until you find one that does work. Just FYI, if you're using your rescue inhaler more that a couple of times a day you really don't have you COPD under any sort of control and you need to see a good pulmonologist and get your meds straightened out.

Ventolin helps me better than ProAir, so yes, there is a difference.

I am on 4 perscribed......any exertion hinders breathing so hard to know which ones really help . Advair....2 puffs 2x day: Spiriva....1x day: Xopenex -rescue- 2 puffs 2x day if needed: Ventolin 2 puffs any ole time! I think the key is a GOOD pulmonary doctor... I have the same regiment for 9 years.

I've just been taken off bevespi (non-steroid) and put on trelegy. Before I could not use that kind of container but doing ok with this one. I am also on ventolin for a rescue inhaler. Still short of breath (sob), but have only been changed for a week. Will let you know how I'm doing in a month with trelegy.
