The tea I drink is just Nestea instant with real lemon and sugar mix. I sip it all day and keep heating it up when it cools down. I had been drinking that tea cold for many years due to glycemia.helped to keep my sugar up but when I heard Dr. Oz recommend it for COPD by drinking it or hot coffee, I tried it hot and it worked. Have been drinking it that way since 2004, one year after I had the kidney removed. Glad to be of help. I am not on oxygen yet, but probably won't be long before that will be the next step.Take care every one. Glad I found this group. :)

Try to get an acepella its a really easier option to expel mucus been using one for years also try fresh lemon squeezed in warm water each morning before anything else. Then wait 30 minutes before eating or drinking.Hope it helps.

And I drink hot tea. It helps to loosen the phlegm to cough it up.

I have just come out of hospital, and after having every test imaginable,im pleased to say everything came back normal,( which was such a relief ) the only thing was my chest,i had an infection which they quickly rectified with antibiotics,i am now on the road to recovery, but with COPD.i will never be 100%,but have been told I can improve,so fingers crossed,im going to try hard and enjoy life a little more.
