If your cough is productive and you're still coughing up yellow or green junk, see your doc. If it's clear, give it a couple of days and see what happens. Sometimes the cough lingers on for quite some time after the infection is long gone.

Same thing happened to me and my regular doctor did a sputum test & found that now it's a yeast infection in my lungs. I'm on my last day of fluconazole 100mg & still congested. Does anyone know if Advaire could be causing this yeast infection. I have an appt today and will find out.

7 days on antibiotics is never enough for me to kick infection the doctor and I have learned a 14 day route
is what does the trick

I've got one hel of a cough finding it hard to shake like you I've had the meds I'm just having cough sweets as the infection has gone just got to put up with it. It's a bummer

You may have an infection in your sinus which is causing you to cough.Post nasal drip had me on the same drugs to no avail until i found the cause so try Avamys nasal spray.
