Anniecan,
I was dx'd in 1984 and I am 80 now and just showing symptoms this year . I take Proair inhaler as a rescue inhaler if needed well as an inhaled steroid . I also use a neb twice a day with albuterol and Ipratopium . When I use the neb I do not need the inhalers normally . If I need them it means I am coming down with
something and I see my doctor.
Breathe easy .Enjoy the holiday /

I was diagnosed this year at the age of 51. But i experienced symptoms for about a year before i seeked medical help.

May I ask what you are using for inhalers/meds etc....I was about that age as well. Now 50.. just went from QVar to Symbicort....
