I have been reading about the importance of vitamin D in particular and vitamin C. My husband, who has a different pulmonary doctor than I do was prescribed a high dose of vitamin D and it comes as a prescription. My doctor has not prescribed it for me. I will talk to my doctor about it next time I go, but I wondered if any or all of you guys were also taking vitamin D as it is supposed to be good for lung function and excaberation prevention. If you are taking it......how much?

Has anyone had to take vitaminD because of meds they take.On Spriva and Symbicort. Taking 50,000 units 1 time a week for 90 days.

Hello all! Was wondering if any of you take daily vitamins and/or supplements that possibly help at all with breathing easier and just with symptoms in general? If so- how MUCH do you take daily? It’s very hard to find information on dosage and what actually helps online. So far I keep seeing things about:
d3, k2, b12, a, e, c, zinc, magnesium, NAC, coq10, fish oil, rso oil, and apple cider vinegar.

All reading I have found says that VitaminD is NOT made by the body and MUST be taken in by Dietary and/or outside supplements. My Doc will not budge on recommending Statins when he sees my LDL numbers. The plot just thickened:

I read somewhere about vitamin D or D3 that helps with COPD flare-up, but I can not recall which one it is, also how does a salt lamp help. I have so many flare- up a day like at lease 10 or so. I am really starting to get very scare.
