Check with local state social services. They'll help you figure out what you're eligible for. You can't be denied health insurance because of pre-existing conditions; it's illegal. I'd also suggest you find an attorney and talk about your legal options.

I would try again for my disability, make sure you get a lawyer that will stick with you, it took me a little while but I got it, just keep trying, and I pray things get better for you God bless and don't give up

Don't give up. You definitely should be getting benefits.

I just told ss that I did not have a dr as mine did not want to get involved. A state dr examined for free and I got mine right away. Of course had to wait the six months to get the lump sum check.
