That is tricky do you have a small portable and one other one at home to move around the house or apartment? Well if you can stop at time to charge the batteries okay and how long does one last I have a big one that you have to charge about every 3 to 4 hours and a small one for about 2 hours. But you will have to keep them charged or at least one of them. Good luck I cannot be off oxygen very long maybe 3 minutes so I do not go any where. But like I said you can just stop and keep one charged.

It depends on what you're going do. If you're going somewhere and when you get there you'll be in the same place, you can ask your provider to make a concentrator and tanks for out and about available at your destination. I do that all the time. Right now I'm in Michigan and they just delivered a concentrator and tanks for me.at my hotel. They'll also deliver to someone's home if you're staying with family or friends.

If you're going to be on the road all the time, then it's a little more complicated, because the O2 provider isn't responsible for O2 while you travel. I use a portable O2 concentrator for flying or driving. If you need O2 while you travel, you're probably going to have to figure a way to do it on your own. If you're driving, some folks have put their concentrator in the backseat and run it off the car battery. I believe this requires some electrical work on your car so the battery can handled the load, but it's possible.
