It's estimated that there are about 1.5 million people with COPD on O2. We know there are 15 million who have been diagnosed and it's estimated that there are another 15 million who have COPD but are not diagnosed. So only about 10% of those diagnosed are on O2. There are lots of other people on O2 who don't have COPD.

On Duoneb every 3 hrs, suppose to use oxygen 24/7, but only when I use the Nebulizer and full time in the PM. Some days when breathing gets bad, I hook-up the double length tubing and get around the house with the oxygen. Also, very helpful is the Symbicort (for the inflamation) . Nose drops for post nasal drip and that helps too. Little steps, little steps and one day at a time! So everyday is a good day!

Been on 02 for 2 1/2 years now, and I have good days and bad days. Lately with the cold I've had more bad than good. One day at a time.

I wear my oxygen 24/7 and have been for soon to be 10 yrs , will be 80 in March still living alone , starting Lung rehab in January for the second time, it really helped me before
