@A MyCOPDTeam Member, sorry to hear about your problems with steroids, I do understand since they make us hungry and we eat all the time. My doctor is going to take me off of all steriods soon and I am only on 2.5Mg maintenance dose now. My breathing is not as good without the oral steriods, so may tell him I want to stay on enough to help with that.

Thank you @A MyCOPDTeam Member I also have been on very high doses 40Mg for months at a time, when I had pneumonia. Just ready to breath again. Hope you have a blessed day.

Boy i hear that, i have some days, that i feel like im on top,but, ive delt with sickness, enough, to know, a. Big ugly day, is coming thru, sleeping for 20 hours, getting up and every thing feels ive been ran over by a big truck, twice...then one good day,,,mine seems to be gettiing more sever the older i get.. but i do look forward to those good days...

I have taken prednisone for 10 days and no taper...was fine..

I have been told this is the norm these days no taper
