I am pre-diabetic and have been told to cut way down on carbs, and especially sugar. I am careful and allow myself to cheat once in awhile but not daily.
Maggi 56, you may be one of those people for whom food isn't an issue; count your blessings. Food doesn't make much difference to me, either, most of the time. I do notice if I have too many carbs, though. Breathing is a little harder for awhile after eating; I notice that my after meal walk isn't as easy, and I breathe a little harder. Some people find that vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower give them lots of gas, which is difficult for people with COPD to deal with. Not everyone responds that way, but if you do, it can be very difficult.
Don't know if it rubbish or not but sugar is very hard on any person. It takes a long time for the body to lose it. Control the input.
Simply cannot be doing with faddy eating trends! If it's not one thing that's supposed to be a health risk it's
another. Why cannot people just get on with eating? Stop fussing about what's good or bad.
