Albuteral
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I use an albuterol inhaler several times a day. I write down each use as the inhaler has 200 doses in it. At the end of its life I find that it still continues to work. Is it alright to continue to use it until it completely has no more pressure?

@A MyCOPDTeam Member - my albuterol inhaler has a built in counter and when I have reached 0 I toss it. Prior to having albuterol without the built in counter I used it until nothing came out. I never logged each inhalation as it was not always feasible. Hugs

What I do is every now and then I will give it a puff to see if there is any in it. But if it's the symbicor aren't you suppose to use it only 2 times a day and the rescue only 4 times a day ? The weekend before last my oxygen was very low and I need to keep track of all the SOB so they will know if I need something different I would think I would need to use the nebulizer more and thank God I have 2 that were my husbands.. I haven't been on here much because I am having a hard time keeping up with my chores not to mention last time I took that 'ole lady bus I stood in the grocery store over an hour waiting and then got in trouble for having more than 5 bags.
