shopping for an oxygen concentrator and these are two variables. Any insight?

Stationery concentrators don't offer pulse; they do continuous only. Pulse doses on ay machine, including Portable O2 Concentrators (POCs), means that you get a pulse or a bolus of O2 only when you breathe in.. Continuous means that the O2 comes continuously at a set level. Pulse is used most for "out and about" because it conserves O2. Whether you're using tanks, a LOX delivery system or POC, pulse does are common to conserve O2. There is no standard for what any setting means. A setting f 2 on one devce can be completely different from a setting of 2 another device. That's why you really need to do your research.
