Last Wednesday ordered a Ventolin inhaler I then ordered my repeat prescription this Wednesday and included another Ventolin inhaler, as I normally use 1-2 inhalers per month. In winter i can use 2. Unfortunately you have to follow their course especially if you are on a gov. plan @A MyCOPDTeam Member . The gov. plan in Ontario Canada where I am allows for a 3 month supply of any medication at one time. You can be as angry as you want - it won't change anything.

Well they are only following the rules given to them and if they want to keep their jobs they have to go by them. However, I would ask them if they could please mail the refills to you in the future because of your disability they might do it.

If on insurance I found that it doesn't make any difference you get one month at a time. Hubby ran out once couldn't get more unless I paid for it out of pocket.

I think this has more to do with your insurance company and how your RX was written. If it was written to say 2 per month, it should be filled and covered by insurance.
