I had a similar problem when in the hospital. Dr. put me on bipap machine. What a big'big difference. I have machine at home now and use it when I sleep or lay down.my problem is the cartellge around the windpipe colapses. there is a test Dr. can do to see if this is happening.good luck. know it is such a scary feeling !
