My 67yo father is end stage. Last week he had another episode where drs called the family in again and then he decided to remove O2 in hopes for it to all end... his little $50 o2 monitor read 36% (if you know much about levels and symptoms...i think the monitor has to be inacurate or he has a superpower) by supper time but he was still awake and just gasping. Finally he motioned for his O2 again and gave up on giving up as it was horribly uncomfortable.

I also have those twitching episodes my whole body does it .it very scarey sometimes I think I am having a stroke .
If his O2 levels are still low, this could be O2 related, and it's possible that there could be some residual effects, but I really doubt it. To be sure, I think you need to ask the doc; just recognize that he may not be able to answer definitively. If it's not causing any problems, don't worry about it.
