Has Anyone Had To Return 02 Canisters From Out Of State And What Did They Pack Them In ? ALso What Was The Cost ?

I went to see my mother - in- law who lives out of state for Mother's Day and the elevation really bothered me . My insurance had my doctor fax an order for 02 to a company up there and now I have to mail them back and can not find a box . To use a large box it is over 100.00 . They are the ones good for 4 hours at 2 liters the hospitals and rehab put on the back of wheel chairs .
Thank you all and breathe easy .

Good luck and have a wonderful time. I was OK at the higher elevations if I just sat and did not walk around. As soon as I started moving I got SOB . Never again, I will check elevations before I decide to go somewhere . Breathe easy and have a good day .

No , it is not a national company , just in the northwest . I called them and if they are not returned my insurance will be billed for them . They my insurance company , only allowed me two months they w ill pay for.
I went online to Amazon and found a mailing container they will fit if for 21.00 and the postage will bring it up to 57.40. But at least I will get them out of the house. It will take 2-3 weeks to get the containers .

If you are traveling in the continental US they will deliver it to your destination and pick it up when you leave.

Mind went to 74 when we went to Yosemite last year. I got it up to 90 with oxygen though.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member, we are over 3400 feet here, but, when I go in the Black Hills I always take my oxygen, get to Denver sometimes and even with oxygen my breathing is affected. Altitude makes a huge difference, higher we go harder it is to breath.
