Go to the American Lung Association website. They have a wonderful online program. It is gradual, step by step and takes you through phases working on emotional, psychological, educational issues. It will also put you in touch if you want to be, with others who are joining the same time you are so you can support it each other. It helped me immensely !!
@A MyCOPDTeam Member & @A MyCOPDTeam Member Here I am your personal cheerleader to quit smoking sis boom bah rah rah rah! My legs leave something to be desired how ever I will encourage you not to smoke till the cows come home. How`s that your own personal teammate no doubt many more on the team will join me in a chorus line to get all catty on you to quit ! Why we could ask Froggy to get on the anti smoking band wagon he loves to toot his horn, why AnnRevie would more then likely help as well would this count as support to quit the smoking habit?
I don't think.so,but I would benefit from one.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member, not really that i know of but im sure you could look online and find one around your area. I quit in 2007 cold turkey, it was either i smoke or i breath, i really didn't have a choice my breathing got real bad.
I quit about four years ago and I was doing OK I was onlyOne puffer but I was vapping so I thought I had it made but then I was coming home on an airplane and I got so sick I was in the hospital for 10 days that was the end of smoking because that didn't help either so no more smoking I still miss it sometimes but I know I can't it's OK he gets better have a good breathing day
