What Combination Of Meds For Early Copd?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Hi my dr recently changed my meds I was on adviair since it first came out but now she has me on Breao and asked me to stop taking my advair , Stilto respimat and singular. I am miserable and don't feel I'm getting better. When I was in the hospital a couple months ago they were combining stiloto with breo but dr says no so I'm confused I just want to feel better but I don't want to combine anything that's going to be bad for me

Breo and Advair are in the same classification of med. Both are a combination of a long acting bronchodilator and an inhaled corticosteroid (a LABA and an ICS). Stiolto is a combination of a long acting bronchodilator and a long acting cholinergic (a LABA and LAMA) . If you take Breo or Advair with the Stiolto, you are double dosing on the LABA. Ask if you can return to the Advair and Spiriva combination along with the singulair.

Spriva and advair work the best for me as well. Add mucenx when I get a bad cough and a nebulizer when wheezing gets out of hand

Sorry about my wording. Damn phone keeps correcting me and I'll catch it I think you get the gist of it. The spiriva and advair has so far been the best combo for me

When was last night they put me on spiriva with the advair I was already on. He told me but that's the best combination. I can honestly say that I'm not 100%. But I also can tell you that before was on this conversation I was in the hospital at least a week once a month. Since I've been put on the combination I haven't been in the hospital for eight months
