I was diagnosed with COPD in 2008. Not on oxygen yet, but I know it's in my future. Since my diagnosis, every day I take Mucinex DM and an allergy pill to help with phlegm production. I also take Calcium +D, Vitamin C, Turmeric, CoQ10, Ginseng, a couple different respiratory/lung supplements and a few swigs a day of liquid Colloidal Silver. Willing to do whatever it takes to stave off this disease and prevent any exacerbations. Best of luck to all of us!

I use perscriptions for COPD, Advair 500-50, Spiriva Respimat 2.5 and Proair Hfa 108 (90Base). Also, use DDR Prime Essential OIl Cellular Complex which is not perscription Dietary supplement. Since using DDR Prime and Spiriva my oxygen use has been cut in half. Still have trouble breathing in cold weather and moderate execise. Appear to not getting worse.

I have had COPD for many years, diagnosed in 2000, I think! I am still not on oxygen on a regular basis, but do have it in case it is needed. Besides my inhalers....Tudorza and Bevespi, used together 2x a day, I am taking an antibiotic (Azithromycin)3x a week, which helps tremendously to prevent bronchitis and flare-ups.I am also taking vitamin D3, Prednisone 10 mgs. 1x every day, and now after doing research, which I do quite frequently, I discovered Turmeric Curcumin 1500 w/Bioperine will help copd symptoms. I started taking it a week ago, and not sure if it is all in my head, but I do seem to be feeling less out of breath :-)

I just take a good all round multivitamin containing anti-oxidents. I absolutely feel the ladies should be taking an added calcium tablet to replenish what you lose every month and after the menopause as well to help prevent osteoporosis.
If you have a very good vitamin supplement then there is no need for any extra vitamin C as the body will not absorb it and it is just wasted in the pee. Of course the vitamin manufacturers will tell you all sorts of things, after all you are lining their pockets by purchasing sometimes dubious health products.
I am a great believer in Hemp Oil, if you have YouTube, or just type Hemp Oil into your search engine. The good stuff in my eyes is worth a million. So many great pluses about it.
With the Apple Cider Vinegar, a lot of people can't stomach it, so I personally don't advocate it. Too much vinegar, and after all it is vinegar, can leach calcium from your bones.
If you need a good supplement and instead of piling the sugar into your tea and coffee, swap it for a good organic honey, purely natural, and loaded with amazing qualities. I use about a teaspoon of honey in my coffee. I am diabetic type 2 and all of my blood tests even though I use the honey, are around 4.2 to 4.7. I do make sure I have a good diet as well.
Lots of love and hugs,
Dr. Paul
