Well was heavy smoker . My Dr told me he was not going to take care of me any more because he won't waste x on people who can't give up what's killing them. That ticked me off I thought about it and took a piece of paper listed as many reasons why I smoke on one side on other side why I need to stop now. Well there were only 2 reasons why I should smoke and 18 why I need to quit. So made decision to stop in three days will put down cigs I got the 12 mg nicotine patch put it on for 6 days than I'd forget to put it on and Walla 7 yrs now I'm a non smoker.

I quit after 40 years all it took was a ride in the ambulance to the ER because I couldn't breathe, and a week in the hospital. I used all the things you tried and I agree welbutrin made me so irratable I couldn't take and stay married. I just had to set my mind to it that I couldn't smoke and I use the nicotine lozenges even now after almost 10 years.

Try using Tarstoppers when you smoke. It will reduce the nicotine and tar. Maybe that will help you quit.
