I went through this 10 days ago. Couldn't breathe. They pumped me with Albuteral and prednisone to take for 4 days and now things are wonderful again.

You should get to a dr. As soon as possible. I had a virus and tried to treat myself and was in hospital for five days and on steroids for twelve days. Also had to have O2 for fifteen days and a antibiotic to get better. From what the pulmonary Dr said every time we let it get bad it makes the copd worse and will be harder to over come in the future. God bless and hope you are better soon !

I am not a doctor, I do not know your history....do you have CHF, diabetes, what medications are you on, there are so many questions and I don’t know the answers. It feels great to be able to breathe so don’t take any chances with an infection of any kind.....PLEASE contact your doctor for the proper medications. Do not play around I had same thing tired to treat myself. Ended up in hospital for 30 days with infection and pnumonia

I had a respiratory infection didn't know but went to the emergency room they gave me prednisone in a iv and antibiotics.I was on the z pac for a week or two.I suggest go to er when that happens.it's copd flare ups do not play with it I was scared because my breathing was really getting bad first time that had happened to me.
