Paracetamol is an over the counter European anti-inflammatory / aspirin, @A MyCOPDTeam Member. You should be able to order some online if you don’t like your over-the-counter choices where you live. (Alternate names: tylenol, acetaminophen).

Meanwhile, @A MyCOPDTeam Member, you need to talk to your doc as bone deep pain can be caused by many things. In my case, the inhalers prescribed caused arthritis. It could be advisable to get a bone density test, if your doc agrees, as many of the inhaled corticosteroids cause osteoporosis, too.

It seems like it’s always something, that’s for sure. Be well.

I get pain in my rib cage, kind of like a muscle spasm, when I laugh really hard. Especially if I am turning to the left or right while laughing. I know this might sound strange, but it is worth the pain to be able to laugh so hard. It is usually my daughter that causes this, as we laugh together alot. I call it a positional laugh injury😂

Yes, sometimes I do, its the ribs contracting so they say, but ask your doctor next time you see him/her because what it could be for one person maybe different for the next. If you have some paracetamol , and able to take that, it is what I usually use. blessings

I have had pluersey several times. It's inflammation of the lining of lungs. A med for inflammation like ibuprophin and moist heat are all I can do. When I get it I recognize it, the same triggers for SOB cause the pluersey also.
Google it and hope you feel better. Moist heating pad!!!
Oh, and in ER they told me nebulizer could help too. Need to keep meds available for it.
