Yes, I have taken 10mg of Prednisone daily for a couple of years. On bad days I increase that amount by 3-5mg to get relief. I worry about the weight gain and other side effects but breathing seems more important to me.....

Thank You Everyone....the Prednisone I take has been only when I am having issues once or twice a year...have gained 25 pounds...just want to be able to move and breath..so that is why the every day prednisone now....can't use Daliresp it attacks my muscles ugh so many meds do. ++ but being on daily prednisone scares me Sharona I would find yourself a different Dr. for sure...

I have seen prednisone make a completely well looking person into a shaky old person it's not good for everyday. There are just so many side effects.

Prednisone is the only thing that will open up my airwaves fast if I am really bad I have to get it in a shot form

Lisa, try taking the Daliresp every other day, or cut the pills in half if you can (they're really little). They also have a 250 mg (half the dose that you're probably getting) available and if you can get it, that might work better for you for a month to get you started. It was tested that way in Britain, and was very successful in helping with the digestive issues.
