My pulmonary doctor prescribed Dailiresp and I have been taking it for about 2-3 weeks now. He told me that it might cause weight loss and diarrhea. Well he was right. It has wreaked havoc with my system. I have lost weight and had diarrhea. I need to lose weight so that part is ok, but the other......makes me feel terrible.
My husband is also taking it and has for some while and it does not have that effect on him. In fact, he thinks it greatly improved his breathing.

It did the same thing to me. I suffered it out for two weeks and all side effects went away. Been taking it for about a year now and no problems.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member please ask your Doctor for a alternate to Dailiresp as is it worth the discomfort you feel? It is good your husband finds it helps him . We are all different and what helps one may not help another !
I HAD the same side effects. I cut mine in half and take 1/2 in the morning and the other 1/2 in the evening. Do not have any of the side effects anymore.

Everyone is different. I know others who have taken the same meds I'm on with very different results. If the side effects are making you weaker, you need to talk to your doctor about what to do.
