@A MyCOPDTeam Member 63 the air donuts will hold up well and would be adjustable where the foam is ridged, failing that a tube from a small trailer tire would work as well just make a cloth cover for it !
I hope you've seen your doc about them. My guess is that your recliner isn't a very good place for you to be right now, and you perhaps need to think about getting a hospital bed where the head of the bed can be raised and you can be moved properly from one position to another. Preventing bed sores is mostly a question of being properly positioned wherever you are and sometimes you can't do that on your own.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member I am hoping you`ve found ointment, If you have a friend who has large aloe plants the fleshy pulp spread on the sores might be worth a try? I find Cortisone white crème in the tube works for me !

Go on line and see if you can find Calmoseptine.
We used it in hospice and home health for our patients and it's great stuff.
Zinc oxide and Burt's Butt Paste work well too. These are over the counter anywhere.
