Bullectomy
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Does anyone walk half way through a room and so short of breath and feel like if they take one more step you will wee all over your self so you have to sit or stand somewhere till you feel you can make it back without weeing all over yourself? I have lots of problem with feeling dizzy or my equilibrium being off so when I have those days I don't drive much less get out of the house

You need to talk with your pulmonologist about this, but my guess is that your O2 saturation levels are getting so low that your brain sends what O2 you do have to your vital organs (heart, brain, etc) and the bladder doesn't make the cut. One of the fixes is to have a six minute walk done and if you need O2 , you should use it. O2 won't keep you from getting sob completely, but it will help and even when you do get sob, if your O2 sats are good, your brain won't divert O2 on you and maybe your bladder will not be quite so affected.

Once you get the O2 issue settled, then you need to talk with your regular doc if you're still having problems, because there are other things besides low O2 sats that can cause the same thing and some of those can be fixed, either with medication, exercise or surgery. So get the O2 straightened out, and then deal with it.
