While you're on prednisone you need the insulin only...It does not mean for the rest of your life, unless you're diabetic.

I'd check with the pharmacist regarding this question; they're the ones with the knowledge base to give you a good, educated answer.

be careful with prednisone. when I was hospitalized they were giving prednisone and my sugar levels shot up. I needed insulin

Hi Angie105 , I'm persribed diazepam along with prednisone and it doesn't affect my breathing but YvonneHalls is right , check with your doc. Or pharmecist on that , it could be different for you . Hope that helped alittle. Stay cool and breathe easy!
