Lung Excerciser
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Just saw on Amazon the "Expand-A-Lung" Breathing Resistance Excerciser . Is used by endurance athletes and also claims is good for people with COPD. Has anyone used it or know anything about it? Thank you.

Devices like this one are available and can make a difference if you have problems with inhaling. If you have a weak inhale that can mean that you don't get good results from your dry powder inhalers. So if that's a problem, the devices can help you by helping to strengthen the intercostal muscles that help work your rib cage and the diaphragm.

I had something similar years ago when my lung collapsed. Used it for about 3 months after my lung reinflated. Really did help. Wish I still had it.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member...wow Jean, you are very knowledgeable about things. As it turns out, someone else referred to the Expand a Lung, and my husband ordered it for me. Hope it helps
