How Do I Know If It Is The Wrong Medicine Or Allergies?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

My doctor recently took me off Symbicort and Incruse and changed it to Onoro. I had neck pain so he gave me prednisone for 10 days. A few days after I finished the steroids I had shortness of breath. I am confused as to whether it was the change in meds or spring allergies that caused the shortness of breath. So now I am back on Symbicort and Incruse. The symbicort causes a lot of bruising for me. Has anyone else developed breathing problems 2 weeks after changing meds? Thank you.

I stand corrected; I thought once you went back on the Symbicort things were OK. The allergens could definitely be having an effect. You might see about getting tested for allergens to see if there's something you can do to lessen that effect.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member,hi sorry for your problems, wondering do you have a good hepa air cleaner? Its not spring here yet but when it does come the pollen does raise issues and a good air cleaner even in your bedroom helps,if you can not afford one i made one from a cheap fan and a good furnace filter, just a square fan as close as you can to the size of a furnace filter and just duct tape it to the intake side of your fan, works just as good as their $300 unit for about $40.hope this helps.
