I recently purchased a Conair Extreme Steam Fabric Steamer and it says "Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered" There is no open flame, which is the precaution I have received from the folks here. Would it be referring to liquid oxygen rather than a concentrator? Would it be hot enough to ignite? Anyone have any ideas as to why?
I suppose because of the steam created, it could be inhaled along with the O2; that could cause burning of the nasal passages and would be unpleasant at best. Remember O2 doesn't burn, but it does feed a fire, which is always the concern. Calling the company is a good idea....and let us know what they have to say!

Google the company and find out why it is on there. Apparently they have a good reason for putting it on there otherwise the company would not have gone to the expense to do so.
Do not use that steamer I have a friend who is on oxygen and his wife bought one when she turned it on the steam mixed with the oxygen and caused him a great deal of stress. You should talk with the company that supplies your oxygen for they will give you the best advice for your situation. Hope this helps
to save law suits they put any possible conditions out there even if is near impossible, oxygen will not blow up from a concentrator, you would have to be in an air tight room for a whole day and light a match,
They say that when you go to use sewing machine as well. I must look into the reason
