Please can anybody help me I had 5 cardiac arrests last October and now have COPD and Emphasemia and angina but I have no inhalers but I am now starting to get out of breath would I be prescribed with inhalers now.
Yes do get onto your Doctor ..I have 3 inhalers its been trial and error till i found out what suited me ...I also have a nebulizer which i use in morning it really helps ..Best of luck on your journey easy breathing
You need a pulmonologist to work with your cardiac doc. Being short of breath is hard to sort out when you have both cardiac problems and COPD, so they need to work together to figure out what is causing your problems and to determine the best treatment plan for you. It could include inhalers, but you need a good pulmonologist to work with your cardiac doc to figure it out.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member Hi that would be something to call your Pulmonary Dr about or make appointment to discuss. Good luck. Sorry about your cardiac arrests. Hope things start to go smoothly for you. Take care
There is Albuterol. That is a rescue inhaler. There is Ventolin which is an inhaler that opens up the airways. It is referred to as the grandfather of the sprivia inhalers. Sprivia has several models. Good luck...breathe easy!!!!!
