PLUREL EFFUSIONS
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Just got over my 2nd episode since January this year.
First one was 1.5 liters removed. 2nd was also 1.5 liters. First drained fluid was amber in color. Most recent it was red/pink.
Any suggestions so I could at least have a base plan so I don't visit the ER every 3 months.
TIA

Discuss this with your pulmonologist and develop a treatment plan. Something's going on and your doc should have some ideas on how to treat this or at least investigate what's going on. if not, find one who does!
