I have back pain if i don't stay super active with my exercise program , i have found some simple stretching exercises taught to me by a chiropractor along with high quality cbd oil pretty much ended my problems . When i have a rare bad back pain flair up i apply ice , double my cbd intake , triple my stretching exercise and it is always resolved within 2-3 days completely .

i just read your story. im so proud of you, my gosh you are busy. i noticed you nebulize duo neb? how often a day? i have 1 or 2 times a day if needed.im not sure how often i should. i take spireva 1 a day, symbicort 2 a day, rescue inhaler as needed, now during humid weather otherwise not often.i do have o2 treatments. a few months ago i started that. otherwise thats it. used to take clariton but no show of improvement with allergies, get sinus infect also.so i try to read everything i can but careful not to try anything without my doc approval.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member, Forgot to tell you that I get those spasms in my stomach—never know when it’s going to hit, I can be feeling fine one minute, and the next in awful immobilizing pain. They’ve done all kinds of tests, and can’t find anything wrong...been having that for about 20 years.pretty much given up on a doc figuring it out. My oldest daughter gets them there, too. Just a “happy gene” I guess.

Same with leg spasms—all my girls get them like me, and my Granny and my Dad had them as well. I’m the only one with COPD, so don’t think it’s related to that.

Life gets tough sometimes, but we are tougher, and have a magic bus to ride off in when things get too much😉

Happy 4th🇺🇸 My granddaughter, Meg, sent this to me today.

I hope that you are using high quality cbd oil , we did a lot of research on cbd and only found 2 brands that we trust since it is not regulated , everyone i have recommended pure spectrum 500mg . cbd to has reported positive results , not all cbd oils are effective , here is a link
https://www.purespectrumcbd.com/

To stretch my way stand with your feet shoulder width apart and lean back as far as you can (without falling /maybe have someone stand behind you to catch you until you get used to doing this ) stay leaning backwards for 15-20 seconds do this 1 time / then stand straight feet still shoulder width apart with hands on hips lean as far as you can sideways and hold for 5 seconds , alternating side to side 4 times on each side / then still standing with feet shoulder width apart lean forward and and curl your upper body towards floor while trying to relax and stay for 15-20 seconds ( half the time i will hear my back crack a little at this point ) /then while standing with feet still shoulder distance apart interlock your fingers chest high elbows out to sides forming your body to a shape like a cross and twist right to left with your upper body trying to look behind yourself while your lower body is still facing forward ( this usually makes my neck pop a little ) twist about 3-4 times each direction . I do this exercise 3-5 times a day as a way of keeping my joints self oiling , about 3-4 times a year when i have pain flare-ups in my back i find i can not twist or lean back as far and use a large ice-pack on my back after stretching for 15 minutes every hour or two . These stretching exercises only take me a few minutes to do each time and really have kept me from visiting the chiropractor as i no longer need to be adjusted .
Good luck sweetie and happy 4th ,
K

@A MyCOPDTeam Member, Thanks for the response, my friend.

Do already use the CBD oil, but yesterday, did not help so much. Did do a double dose.

Having arthritis and many other issues with my feet, makes it very hard to use walking as a main exercise, but did find some chair exercises that I began.

What kind of stretch exercises were you referring to?

Thanks again. Helpful
