I want a rent to own machine that I can afford. I'm 71 and on social security. I also pay rent for a home o2 concentrator and portable o2 that only lasts 4 hours. Any rent to own Capps out there?
Nothing personal I’m not on oxygen , I have to go see my pulmonary dr soon , I feel my breathing is getting worse because if my swollen stomach . As for a machine I would get the Inogen 5 which Medicare doesn’t cover so it would cost me about 2,700 . I just don’t like the idea of renting a machine I don’t care how well they sanitize it, but that’s just me , especially today with all the crap going around
If they accept assignments from you they can't charge you for what Medicare doesn't pay except, the 20%, and if you have a Medigap such as AARP, they would pick up your 20% co-pay. There are so many factors it's hard to keep up with everything..
I use a Trilogy machine at night. Was in a pulmonary rehab last year & they put me on it. Dr. said Medicare would pay for it. After 5 or 6 months the company wanted to charge me around $100 a month. I objected as I was told it would be paid for! They had me fill out an hardship application---so far, I have heard nothing else. I also told them that my Medicare statement showed they could not charge me over what Medicare paid. So, ask about that!
Well mine on Medicare and they don’t cover indigene machine for oxygen only if you rent one, n me personally I wouldn’t want to rent one not knowing who’s used it I don’t care how sanitized they say it , that’s just me n the inogen 5 machine that I would get like I said Medicare doesn’t care n I have plan f as my supplement is 2,600.00 if my memory serves me right just got a booklet in the mail about it hope that helps
