Does anyone suffer from CO2 retention, My husband has been on OT for 3 years now on 4Litres but this year he started to suffer from carbon Dioxide retention. He has been in hospital 3 times now, the last time he came out he was given an NIV mask to wear at night whilst asleep. Talk with the provider of the NiV to be sure the machine he's using is calibrated correctly for your husband. Explain about the gas problem and the rest of it. You're not the first people to have this problem and the provider or your doc should have some tricks you might be able to try.

Hi, l've just been put up to 5 litre after being on 4 for 4 years, l have a sleep app to sleep with and had the same problems when l first started, as time goes on l hope you get used to it as for the wind problem l take the mask off bring the wind up then mask back on and back too sleep.
