I had the ablation done 1/26/21. So far I say it is good. Have a doc. appt. on 2/12, I think he will be happy with his work.

The first .ablation is 50 to 60 % effective. The second is about 90%. I had one that was effective. I defiantly recommend it if you are healthy. Less chance of stroke and no meds. Not to mention the fact that many people can feel the palpitations that can be very concerning. I was like that.

I have had 2 ablations and neither worked.But its different with everyone

Did you also have the cardioversion done first? If the ablation fails to last, I cn't see doing it over.
