Help With Dry Mouth.
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I use O2 every night and some during the day. I'm a mouth breather, and suffer from dry mouth. I've used several different things to help, but nothing seems to keep it moist. I drink water all day long. Does anyone have any answers for this?

Hi CHH. There is no shortage of articles on Google about possible causes and tips to cure a dry mouth condition. Many meds including our inhalers can contribute to this also, leading to the fungal Thrush. Diet and intestinal disorders can play into this too. But more importantly, dry mouth can also be a clue of other hidden illnesses. Check with your Doc about these. Stay safe and be well.
