Those red hands are called palmar erythema, and it can be associated with COPD, but mostly associated with heart disease.

The palm of my hands, as far back as I can remember, have always been red and warm. I’ve been asked the same question all my life, β€œ why are the palm of your hands so red?” My answer always is, I don’t know. I have never had a Doctor to give me an answer.

According to the all-knowing Google:

β€œ Other signs of COPD include: Redness of the skin because the capillaries are congested. β€œ

Hope that answer helps, @A MyCOPDTeam Member.
