I'm not aware that CBD will help you quit smoking, but if they do, more power to you. For a way to quit that I know works, find a health professional who specializes in smoking cessation. They can provide prescription and otc meds that will help in any situation, help you analyze your smoking habits, and provide group and help-line resources for support. I know that works.......
It was hard but I gave up cold turkey, I tried one again two weeks after giving up and realized that the nicotine was not there anymore it wasn't addiction it was habit.
I recommend Habitrol lozenges they work well also.
Also would like to add that smoking cigs is the hardest thing to stop. I thankfully quit by changing the time i smoked. Like instead of right after dinner i would smoke right before or hours after. Stopped lighting up when i got in a car. It took about 6 months tapering down until one day i had none. Now i barely crave one maybe after dinner sometimes, but DON'T GIVE IN. I didn't want to start over. So its going on almost a year now and i consider myself a nonsmoker. Wow the difference in my breathing i could keep going like that. Also the smell of smoke makes me sick now.
One more thing have you tried a hypnotic way to quit.
Good luck let us know your progress.
I myself used Habitrol lozenges for NRT they worked great too.
Can't count the times I have quit, I just can't stay quit. I have done Laser, hypnosis, patches, meds, and even Cold turkey Gummies & CB oil. This year I was in hospital for 5 weeks so managed to quit for 4 months, so in desperate action back smoking for 3 months I went to my Doctor. Told him I was either Stressed or Depressed, but I needed something to help me stop AGAIN. !!!
So with a prescription I am quitting again. While on these meds I could still smoke, so after a week or so I began to stop the craving. I am now in my Third Day of being smoke free and feeling quite confident that I will stay quit, Hopefully for the last time . the meds he prescribed is "Bupropion SR" 150 mg.
BUT better talk to your doctor first.
