My question is do they have emergency inhalers for copd if so are they the same as asthma inhalers

Yes they are and usually contain Albuterol in a spray dispenser.

There are rescue inhalers for COPD, and some are the same inhalers available for asthma.

Hi John. Iā€™m on three inhalers plus oxygen. I use Combivent, Pulmacourt twice a day and Spiriva once a day. My doctor has told me that besides these i can use combivent as many times as I want throughout the day as a rescue inhaler. I find it very helpful, especially when there is smoke in the air.
