It is an awful disease to have especially with this COVID stuff going on, I cough and people look at me weird or scoot away several feet, I try to assure them I don't have COVID it's my COPD

My sister must have copd. Still smokes. Coughs non stop. I never coughed but here I am. It’s a terrible disease!

A lot of whether the cough goes away depends on whether chronic bronchitis or bronchiectasis is a major part of your COPD. If so, then probably not. If it's not, then yes, the cough may go away.

I haven’t any idea. For some reason I don’t cough. I wheeze when I’m really struggling. Good luck, hope someone has an answer.
