I'm planning a vacation for a week. I'm on oxygen with cpap nights and don't want to haul my big concentrator with me. Any advise?
@A MyCOPDTeam Member....I just came back from a weekend at the lake with my girl friends and I took my Oxygo and just used it as a concentrator 24/7. I even used it to sleep with. ...and you are… read more
Is there one you like better? I will be moving to an apartment and want something reliable that isn't too loud.
Thanks
I do it works better because it's contagious flow
My mom has an Oxygo Fit ant it lasts 3 1/2 hours but it is too heavy. She needs one that is lighter and lasts 2 1/2 hours or more without charging it. Thank you.
I finally bought a concentrator for my downstairs, was a little spendy but now I have oxygen on both floors. You can buy a used one at a pretty reasonable cost.
Well done Bonnie. You show me I should be doing more to help myself.
I was on a flight to Ottawa Canada from Halifax NS and the device failed. The Medigas company and the manufacturer don’t want to acknowledge how serious this incident was. I have filed the Mandatory Medical Device Failure with Health Canada. I feel that we in the COPD community should be aware of what devices are safe to use. I have major concerns about low saturation levels and potential brain damage.
I get anxiety attacks once every few mouths thats what the doctor calls them
Put some Olbas Oil on a tissue to breath in. Hope that helps. also use and extra pillow so you are not flat, just prop yourself up a bit more
Pricing varies from $1,495 (internet) to $2,154 (Inogen). Can’t see paying an extra $659 just to get it direct from Inogen, as well as two (2) extra years of warranty (five (5) years total).
If you have this unit, is it quiet?
If you have this unit, is it reliable?
Most suppliers online have a no-return policy (despite claiming a 30 days return option), and a restocking fee of 15% plus shipping if I hate it. Ugh !

I have the Inogen continuous flow as a travel machine. I cannot speak to reliability as I have used it just a few days at a time. I keep it in a box when not at use so I can load it in the trunk. It… read more

I feel like a vegetable since I got this oxygen. I can't do anything. I can't go anywhere for more than 2 hours, or this thing on wheels will run out of power. I didn't know my life would have to change so dramatically having to live with this supplemental oxygen. I feel like a vegetable just sitting here in this chair. I can't even clean my house or go downstairs to do my laundry. I signed up yesterday for a local COPD support group that meets monthly, then I realized I wouldn't be able to go… read more
