Be sure to read the paragraph below the one that's highlighted. It points out that while this does have positive effects on some symptoms, we don't yet know how it interacts with standard meds given in the US. If you're really interested in this, find a doc in the US who's into herbal medicine. There are some pulmonologists who really know this stuff well and use some of it.
