Some people say it doesn't matter, others think it does. I think the most important thing is to be consistent about when you take them. They're both maintenance meds, so I'd time things so you can easily take the Advair 12 hours apart and the spiriva once a day. Many people take Advair when they get up and spiriva at noon; some people take both in the morning and then Advair only in the evening, but you figure out what works for you. Sometimes people find that timing is important, especially if it seems that Spiriva, which should last for 24 hours doesn't seem to or if the Advair seems to b e wearing off sooner than 12 hours.
