Anyone take the supplement NAC?? I got some but haven't taken it faithfully. Supposed to help with respiratory issues--???
I took NAC for a while to counteract side effects of taking a lot of tylenol after breaking hip. Just recently read that it might help with respiratory problem so have begun taking again. Will report if any difference. (when taking. encore was not having COPD problem. )

I was taking nac it stopped all my phlem i told my respotry consultant. He said there was no harm in it but i needed to get the mucus up and put me on another tablet i thought it helped a lot
Research on NAC is not conclusive, but there are studies that have shown that NAC does have positive effects on people with COPD. There are people who take it regularly and swear by it, and others who don't see much difference. It won't hurt you and it might help.
