Jean....I have been reading you for years and just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your answers about everything--you have such a calming effect and your answers are always sot-on. I am a RN and think I have good beside manner and some answers but I wanted to say Thank you for heling me so many times. I really like primary doctor she is a sweetie and I trust--you possess many of her qualities and more thatjust make me "rest easy' !!
Thank you. Henny

I think you need to use your oximeter to see what your O2 sats are. If they're under 88, maybe you need to turn your O2 up so you are getting sufficient O2. If you're really concerned, call your doc and get some advice.

Blue skin (and body parts) can be caused by many issues, including heart and circulation problems. What does your "finger-thingy" (oxygen meter) say? Scratch that. You should be seen by a medical doctor ASAP!
